Transformation Day 23, So Very Sorry :(

Hey Transformers

I am so very sorry. The last couple of weeks at my job have been very busy for me and I've been slacking on my blogs. Not only that, I'm also slacking on reading all of your blogs as well. Currenly I'm loading Vista on all my work machines and it takes me about two hour per computer and I have about 30 to do. On a good note, I wanted to let all of you know that I have not missed a single workout. However, I did have one cheat day because I have some friends that are moving away and we threw them a little going away party one night at a local sports bar and I ate a Philly Steak Sammich. But I made it up by doing some good cardio :)

My goals this week is to catch up on everyone's blogs and keep all of you updated each day by doing my own blogs as well.

Transformation Day 15 & 16

Busy Busy Busy :0)
That how the last few days have been for me. But not busy enough that I haven't been able to get my workouts in :)
This past Saturday I got my cardio in and also got my new TV. A friend came over Sunday and helped me install a door and storm door. I've had this for about 3 months now and it has been sitting in my garage ever since. I have to keep the wifey happy :)
Monday I got up did my UBWO and helped the same guy that helped me with my doors take down his kids trampoline. He is moving at the end of the month.
Mood: FANTASIC :)
Meals Planned:
Meal 1: Whole Wheat English Muffin, 1 Egg White, 1 Turkey Sausage and 2 glasses of water
Meal 2: Protein Shake, Apple and 2 glasses of water
Meal 3: Tilapia and Green Beans. Now where did I put that Carb? Oh there it is, an apple and 2 glasses of water. Here is a little Tilapia recipe. Portion sizes are real small so 3 pieces of talapia is a portion for me. So I made 3 servings, egg substitute to lay the fish in to batter in WASA crackers all crumbed up as fine as you can get it. I crumbled about 9 pieces of WASA crackers. Then spray Olive Oil in pan and cook on both sides until done. Take about 5 minutes total to cook fish and woot almost fried Tilapia Fish :) I sure hope I spelling that fish right hehehe. Oh I made this the night before.
Meal 4: Protein Shake, Orange and 2 glasses of water
Meal 5: EFL Goulash and 2 glasses of water
Meal 6: Fat Free Cottage Cheese, yogurt and 1 glass of water :)
Have a super day all :)

Transformation Day 10

Well today is another exciting day. I did a killing UBWO this morning and I was heavily breathing the whole time. I got really motivated this morning after watching last night episode of the biggest loser. It came down to the weigh in and the oldest ever on Biggest Loser, Jerry and heavist boy , Daniel, that is 19 hit the bottom of the line. They were both on the same team at that and Jillian wanted them both to stay. It came down for the young boy to stay. I looked over at my wife and she getting all teary eyed. ME? I was trying to hide myself because I was worse. Today all I could think about was him while I was working out.
On another note, I took my son to the cardiologist and he told me Chris didn't have high Cholesterol and his BP was normal yesterday. However, he still wants to find out why Chris is having Chest Pains while he runs as well as find out why he had high BP a few weeks ago. We will be running more test later this month and I will keep you posted.
Today I did my UBWO at 5:30 am

Transformation Day 5, Great Day

What a wonderful day. I woke up about 20 minutes late this morning however, my wonderful wife got me up and we went to the gym together. I'm so really impressed how Brandi has been willing to get up with me in the mornings and hit them gym. Brandi loves getting her sleep in and I really commend her for having the discipline to get up with me and get fit. I was really proud of her this morning about another situation. She really hates to workout in front of people and she wanted to work on her abs. I'm not sure what you call the equipment, but you stand up on it and you can bring your legs to your stomach or you can lift your legs straight out in front of you. She was a little worried about other people watching. I try and tell her not to worry about other people and she even wanted me to stand in front of her to block the view. You have to love her, I smiled and I told her that I had to do my workouts too. So, while I was working on my biceps I looked over and she went and did it anyway. Way to go baby :)
Today I worked my upper body and added some abs workout in. Plus I did 20 minutes on the crossramp machine.
Meal Plan:
This morning 2 glasses of water and orange before the gym.
Meal 1 Oatmeal with Chocolate Protein, 2 glasses of water
Meal 2 Protein Shake, Orange and 2 glasses of water
Meal 3 Brown Rice, Tuna, Broccoli 2 glass of water
Meal 4 Protein Shake, Apple, 2 glasses of water
Meal 5 Baked Chicken, Brown Rice, Veggies and 2 glasses
Meal 6 Fat Free Cottage Cheese, Cinnamon, Apple and glass of water

Transformation 2009 Challenge, Day 4 (FOR MY SON)

Where was that darn rooster this morning when I needed him to tell me to get out of bed earlier this morning. Oh don't get me wrong :) I still got up early enough to go out in my neighborhood and do a nice speed walk and a 1/2 mile run. Trying to get myself back into shape so that I can try once again to prepare for a 1/2 marathon. Darn the holidays :o) Work had me so busy and I missed many days of running. But no more excuses. Time to get out there and show why I have to run.

I ran into some bad news last week. My son of 17 years old found out last week that he may have a heart problems. He has been into sports since he was 5 years old. About 2 years ago I got him interested in track and cross country. Yeah that's right, me the guy who does not like running. But I do want too. Anyway, about two weeks ago my son told me he was having chest pains when he was running. I immediately told him not to run anymore until we see a doctor. Last week sometime I just could not find a doctor and I took him to a urgi care place just so I can get the guy to listen to his heart and run a few test. Come to find out the doctor there said is sounds like he might have a heart murmur, which is not uncommon in people. But, his blood pressure was very high and we had blood test and a chest xray done too. He also has high cholesterol. Why? I have no clue since we all eat healthy and he runs 5 miles a day. So today I'm waiting to hear back from my wifes heart doctor to see if I can get him in to see her. By the way, when my wife was born, she had three heart surgeries. I believe she told me that she was what you called a blue baby when she was born. So she has had this cardiologist ever since. Keep us in your thoughts.

I also failed to mention that when I got up my son came out of the bathroom to see what I was doing. I told him I was about to go run and you could see it in his eyes that this really bothered him. So today when I was outside running he was my power. I thought about him and what he would do if he could run today so I did it for him.

My meal plan for the day.

2 glass of water before running.

Meal 1 Protein Pancakes and 2 glasses of water
Meal 2 Protein Shake, apple and 2 glasses of water
Meal 3 Almost Fried Rice, ask me about this recipe :), 2 glasses of water
Meal 4 Protein Shake, Apple and 2 glasses of water
Meal 5 Left over 6" Chicken Breast on Wheat Subway, 2 glasses of water
Meal 6 Baked Chicken and Vegetables. 1 glass of water

Transformation 2009 Challenge, Day 2

Ouch...... That was my words all day yesterday. I got up yesterday and my stomach just wasn't feeling right at all. Despite me being uncomfortable I decided to go to the gym anyway. I was there for a total of an hour. I did about 15 minutes of cardio and had to stop because of my tummy. I looked at my wife still doing her cardio and I said to heck with it. I going to workout anyway and see how much I could do. I did all my chest, shoulder and back exercises and then I was done. I felt like I was in an episode of the biggest loser because I felt like running to the bathroom and throwing up. My wife and I love watching the show because of Jillian Michaels. She is always saying, If you're not throwing up, you're not doing it right!!! So I had to stop a little earlier then I wanted to. But I still got to do some cardio and some upper body :) However my day wasn't finished. My poor tummy looked like I was about to have a baby. I was miserable. I walked around in agony the whole day then I figured out I had gas. Finally made it to walmart later that night and got the gas x. Yeah I was feeling better but Brandi wasn't to pleased with me lol.
Today I didn't make it to the gym or outside for cardio this morning because I was tossing and turning all night with tummy aches and a small headache. I'm feeling great right now, so I get to do cardio when I get off work today.
My meal plan for the day is
Meal 1 Protein Pancakes, 2 glasses of water
Meal 2 Protein Shake, Apple, 2 glasses of water
Meal 3 Left over Asian Stir Fry from EFL cookbook and 2 glasses of water
Meal 4 Protein Shake, Apple, 2 glasses of water
Meal 5 6" Chicken Breast Sub from Subway and 2 glasses of water (I get subway when I got to dropzone)
Meal 6 Cottage Cheese, Cinnamon and Apple and Glass of water
